Walkthrough for Escape from Pleasure Planet - part I

From the menu, select New Game.

Setpiece: 30 Seconds to Death.

A peaceful wedding party is attacked and a mysterious man steals an invention. In orbit, Tycho responds to the distress call and moves to intercept the ship.
Exit the warrant screen when it appears.
From the menu, select External View.
Scan the ship to get the blueprint, this is optional but gives more story.
Tycho adds blueprint to inventory.
Click on the ship, Doug will want to know what to do.
Select "Fire!"
The ship will start to vent plasma but you will no longer be about to die.
Click on the ship again, this time, select "talk."
Brutus will cut off the conversation. Run down the timer by moving around the ship (changing views, etc). The target ship will jump away.
From the external view, click on the plasma.
Scan the plasma trail.
This will unlock the coordindates for the planet Arcadia.
From the menu, select View Bridge.
Talk to Randy.
Select Arcadia from the list of special co-ordinates.
Click on 'Engage'.
The ship will arrive in orbit around Arcadia.
From the menu, select Away Mission (transmat).
Doug says "Captain!"
It doesn't matter what option you choose, Doug will give you a bicorder - a scanning and data analysis device.


Setpiece: Crash Landing

Tycho arrives on Arcadia, where Brutus' ship has crashlanded.
Click on the underpants.
Tycho adds underpants to inventory.
Talk to Ship.
Ship says "It's okay everybody ... I'm fine."
Select "You seem to be ignoring the gravity of your situation."
Select "Where's Brutus?"
Select "I'll look around."
Threaten the ship by collecting the branch, using it on the box from the crash, and then click on the box again.
The ship will be spooked and promise to talk.
Talk to Ship.
Ship says "I'll tell you what you want!"
Select "Like what?"
Select "Hang on, I'll look around."
Now the ship is close to falling, you need to secure it.
Use underpants on tree.
Talk to Ship.
Ship says ">sob< You should've let me fall."
Select "I'm looking for Brutus. Can I scan you?"
Ship says "I'd open my door but ..."
Select "But ... what?"
Select "Why?"
Ship says "I can't live like this! I'm going to jump!"
Select "Let's not be hasty, I'm backing away."
The butterfly that was hanging around near the tree lands on the ship and starts it teetering.
Click on the seed pod.
Use pod on wing of the ship.
Click on the plasma vent to heat up the pod and make it flower. The butterfly will move from the front of the ship to the flower.
Scan the ship door. Shortly afterwards this, the ship will fall. Tycho will suggest going down into the valley.
Click on the trail of blood.
Tycho says "Follow the trail of blood?"
Select "Yes."
Tycho arrives outside a large building. The crashed ship has reached its final resting place near the fountain. Three large statues of the facility's founders welcome visitors.
Enter the facility.


Setpiece: Queue of Destruction.

Talk to the Giant Eyeball. It will introduce itself as MIS-TRISS, the AI that runs Arcadia.
Go to waiting room.
Scan the blood on the floor to reveal the trail.
The astronauts won't let go ahead of them in the queue, so you'll have to take them out.
Click on the table.
Use old magazine on puzzle box to disguise the box.
Optionally complete the puzzle.
Return to the room.
Talk to the First Astronaut.
First Astronaut says "You'll have to wait, I'm not missing my turn."
Select "Hey, there's a cool puzzle over there you should try."
The astronaut will walk over and engage with the puzzle and get stuck.
Talk to the Second Astronaut.
Second Astronaut says "Why-oh-why do they let gay people in here?"
Select "What?"
Second Astronaut says "I've got nothing against LGBTIQXYZ-whatever-the-hell-they-call-themselves but why do they need to rub our faces in it?"
Select "I don't know if you've thought this through."
Tycho says "Can I appeal to your ..."
Select any of the options, nothing will work.
Talk to Bazzarella.
Bazzarella asks "Why the long face, Captain?"
Select "There's this guy ..."
bazzarella says "Boy trouble! Say no more."
Select "I doubt he's into me."
Bazzarella will give you her intoxicating perfume.
Use odour de toilet on Second Astronaut.
The astronaut will like the scent but the bottle is now empty.
Go to avenue of honour.
Use odour de toilet on flower.
The bottle will be refilled.
Go back to the facility waiting room.
Use odour de toilet on Bazzarella.
The astronaut will go over to Bazzarella and when he annoys her, her jaws distends like in V and she eats him.
Talk to the Third Astronaut.
The third astronaut complains about how dumpy our universe is and how he wishes he was back home.
Select "Why are you here if you dislike it so much?"
Click on the couch.
Tycho says "That's a comfy looking couch."
Select "Perhaps I should search for lost items ..."
Tycho adds shiny coin to inventory.
Go to main foyer.
Click on the power point.
Click on the Out-Of-Order sign.
Tycho says "Do you want me to pick up this out-of-order sign?"
Select "Yes."
Tycho adds Out-Of-Order sign to inventory.
Use Out-Of-Order sign on transmat pad.
Use shiny coin on transmat pad.
Click on the transmat control to start the transmat. MIS-TRISS will warn that a discharge is about to occur.
Return to the waiting room as quickly as possible. Interact with items in the scene until the transmat triggers. Zerimax should transmat out.
There is a short sequence in another universe. Talk to Zerimax.
